Loading Dock Equipment Sales in Nanticoke
We help warehouses, distribution centers and stores choose dock levelers, vehicle restraints, seals and doors that suit their trailers, traffic and building. Every recommendation starts with measurements and photos of your bays, so you can see why each piece was chosen before you buy.
Buying the right equipment the first time
Dock equipment lasts a long time, which means a poor choice stays with you for years. A leveler that is too short for your mix of trailer heights, or a seal that cannot reach a lowered reefer, slows every load and wears out early.
We start from your facility, not a catalog. We look at the pit, the door opening, the approach and the trucks that back in each day, then put together a written proposal with photos of each bay and notes on what we saw. You get a clear picture of what is worth replacing, what can stay and what each option means for safety and downtime.
If you already know the model you want, we can price it. If you are not sure, we will explain the trade-offs plainly and let you decide.
What our equipment sales cover
Dock levelers
Hydraulic, mechanical, air-powered and edge-of-dock levelers, sized for capacity and lip length. We check pit depth and condition before recommending a unit, because a new leveler set into a cracked or out-of-square pit will not sit right.
Vehicle restraints
Hook-style and wheel-based restraints with inside and outside communication lights. We note your trailer types, including lift gates and low-bed units, since they affect which restraint will actually engage.
Seals, shelters and bumpers
Foam seals, curtain shelters and molded or laminated bumpers. These are small purchases that protect the wall, hold in heat and keep weather off the dock floor.
Doors and grilles
Sectional overhead doors, high speed doors and rolling grilles for docks and interior openings. Each is matched to cycle counts, insulation needs and the security of the space behind it.
A written, documented proposal
Each line item ties to a bay number and a photo, with dimensions and the reason for the choice. You can share it with operations or finance without having to explain it yourself.

Signs it is time to replace rather than repair
- Repairs keep coming back
- When the same leveler needs a hydraulic cylinder one season and a new lip hinge the next, replacement often costs less over a few years than continued patching. We will walk you through the repair history and give you an honest answer.
- Your trailers have changed
- Newer air-ride trailers, refrigerated units and low-deck vans can sit outside the range your older leveler or seal was built for. Steep transitions and gaps at the top of the seal are the usual clues.
- Pallet jacks bottom out
- If electric jacks scrape or stall on the lip, the leveler may be too short for the height difference. That is a capacity and length question, and new equipment solves it.
- Drafts and water at the door
- Torn seals and worn shelters let in cold air and snowmelt, which matters through a Northeastern Pennsylvania winter. Wet dock floors are a slip risk and spoil temperature-sensitive goods.
- No trailer restraint at all
- Many older docks rely on wheel chocks alone. Adding a vehicle restraint helps prevent trailer creep and early departure while a forklift is inside.
How a sale works with us
- 1
A call about your dock
Tell us how many bays you have, what you receive and what is giving you trouble. We will arrange a time to visit that works around your shipping schedule.
- 2
Survey of each bay
We measure each pit, door and approach and photograph the existing equipment, labels and any damage. Nothing is recommended without a reason you can see.
- 3
Written proposal
You receive line-item pricing by bay, with model details, notes from the survey and expected lead time. We explain where a less expensive option is fine and where it is not.
- 4
Order and handoff
After you sign off, we order the equipment and let you know as the delivery date firms up. Our Loading Dock Equipment Installation team can set it, or we can work alongside your own crew.
What shapes the price of new equipment
Two docks that look alike from the yard can need very different equipment. The figures in your proposal come from the measurements and photos taken at your facility, and each line explains what is driving it.
- Type and rating
- A hydraulic leveler is a larger investment than a mechanical unit, and each step up in rated capacity means heavier steel in the deck and frame. We match the rating to the loads you really move, not the biggest figure on the spec sheet.
- Size and fit
- Leveler length and width, door dimensions and seal projection all affect the price. Odd-sized pits or openings can call for custom units.
- Condition of the pit and wall
- Damaged concrete, curb angles or a bent door frame may need attention before new equipment can go in. We point this out during the survey so it is never a surprise later.
- Number of bays and options
- Ordering for several bays at once can simplify freight and scheduling. Options such as insulated doors, dock lights and interlocks between restraint and door add to the total.
Questions about buying dock equipment
- Do you install what you sell?
- Yes. Most customers have us handle both, which keeps measurements and responsibility in one place. Installation is covered on our Loading Dock Equipment Installation page. If you prefer your own maintenance crew, we can supply the equipment and the documentation they need.
- Can you replace one leveler without changing the rest?
- Usually. We match pit size and lip style so the new unit sits alongside older ones without trouble. We will also point out if neighboring bays are close to needing the same work, so you can plan ahead.
- How long does it take for equipment to arrive?
- Lead time depends on the manufacturer, the model and whether it is a standard or custom size. We give you the expected timing in the proposal and update you once the order is placed. Standard seals and bumpers tend to arrive sooner than custom levelers or doors.
- Is repair a better choice for my leveler?
- Sometimes it is. If the deck, frame and pit are sound, a repair through our Dock Levelers service may be all you need. We would rather tell you that than sell you a unit you do not need.
- Do you work with facilities outside Nanticoke?
- Yes. We serve docks across the surrounding area, including Wilkes-Barre, Hanover, Kingston and Mountain Top.
